German shepherd spotted on a walk near the train station.  Sweet-looking dog, but also a bit lazy and stubborn.  Was giving his owner a hard time.  Who knows what wisdom this dog has, or how to understand it?  I saw this dog and thought, oh man, that is a pretty big dog.  He really was.  This dog definitely eats a lot.  That is a very doggy thing to do.  It is no wonder that he does not want to walk around the corner.  Definitely, almost 100%, a dog.

Saw a daschund.  Oh, man.  Those dogs are pretty cool.  This was a smaller daschund.  Not the most active dog, but clearly with a genuine sense of curiosity in the world.  A pretty nice dog, I'm sure.  We could all learn something from this dog.  I know I did.  Could be a really great companion.  Maybe just a bit nervous.

(Late update)

Saw a westie puppy.  Really energetic dog, prefers running in circles, even when walking straight.  This dog is great.  I am so into this dog.  Probably a good playmate.  Looks really friendly.  Generally a real pick-me-up.  Nice to see, with the state of the world as it is right now.  Probably not quite sure what's going on.  But that's okay.  I totally wanted to pet this dog, but I didn't, and now I'm regretting it.  What a good dog.  Pretty small, though.  Not the smallest dog I've ever seen, but relatively small, nonetheless.

Yorkshire terrier spotted in the process of being thrown over the owner's shoulder today.  A very endearing dog, if a little pathetic.  Clearly frightened at its surroundings.  Probably bookish.  Not a very fashionable dog, but quite nice and well-meaning.  I would like to coddle this dog for a little while.

Spotted a pug on a walk, sniffing the back of a car. Possessed a proud dignity uncommon in a pug, although very doglike. Were I to have tea with this dog, he would probably be quite imposing, although not in a rude way. Would confidently discuss the politics of global trade. Easy to visualize wearing a small suit and hat.
